Dive Insight:
In recent months, a slew of brands have appointed first-ever CX leaders, from Southwest to Verizon, as businesses have started to prioritize investing in customer experience.
PCNA, on the other hand, has long recognized the importance of a CX leader.
PCNA first created the VP of customer experience role in 2009, the spokesperson told CX Dive.
In 2015, it opened a $100 million customer experience center and company headquarters in Atlanta. The 27-acre complex features a driver development track, restoration center and a fine dining restaurant. At the time, it marked the largest investment Porsche had made outside Germany.
“Fleischer will work to grow the Customer Experience from start to finish that is consistent and unique to the Porsche brand,” the spokesperson told CX Dive.
“The PCNA team has a formidable reputation for passion, authenticity, and putting the customer first — and I look forward to building on their great work,” Fleischer said in a prepared statement.
Fleischer will assume a role previously held by Lea Anderson. Anderson left in October last year after a one-year stint. She had taken a position held by Margareta Mahlstedt, who also only remained in the role for a year before moving to another role at PCNA.
Fleischer is arriving at PCNA from Infiniti USA, where she most recently served as director of customer experience and training. She has also held roles at BMW in Munich and in the United States.
